I like my jewellery to be 3 things: Big. Gold. Chunky.
Imagine my delight when I discovered brand Gogo Philip in the Oxford Circus Topshop. Their pieces are very shiny, very chunky and very affordable. I snapped up several pieces.
Some new purchases from Topshop over the weekend. They look so pretty all together in my wardrobe - I love their latest colour palette, it's so grown up.
The serious downturn in temperature has swayed my tastes towards the more insulating end of the fashion spectrum. I now gasp in envious delight at thick knit arans and fleece lined flannels! This Jeremy Laing bubble knit jumper, one of Tommy Tons Favourite Things, looks as insulating as bubble-wrap, but a damn-sight cosier! The closest thing I could find online is this Whistles cardigan for €161 or this ASOS sweater, €52. As my mother used to say 'Snug as a bug in a rug'.
This beautiful creature is a model from Serbia and surprisingly enough, is actually a man. Andrej Pejic embodies the current zeitgeist for androgeny, mirroring masculine features seen in models like Stella Tennant, Freja Beha Erichsen and Bambi. And he's just so darned pretty!
You can clearly see the affinity Pamela Love might have with her photographer boyfriend Jordan Sullivan from his pictures. They have the same dreamy, ethereal aesthetic as Loves jewellery and are sprinkled with the same dark references to death in nature - bones, antlers, teeth, graves. Needless to say I love.
Scandinavian purveyors of crisp, clean pieces Cos have set up shop in BT2 in Dublin. It's basically Céline for those with more paltry means - here's hoping they give the same value for money as they do on mainland Europe. Sometimes we're punished for being an island!
The standout piece for me is that caramel leather dress.
